Description

On September 11-12, 2008, OSU Extension – Veterinary Medicine, will host a conference entitled “One-Medicine Conference: Contemporary Issues in Public Health.”  The goal of this conference is to provide updates on information and exchange ideas about the epidemiology and current research on persistent, emerging, and re-emerging infectious diseases of concern to veterinary and public health.  Conference speakers will address surveillance, research, and outreach activities related to these public health threats.  Through this dialogue between researchers and public health practitioners, the program committee hopes to increase communications and interactions among all individuals involved in protecting the public from infectious diseases shared between humans and animals.

  • Registered Sanitarian CE - 7.5 hours
  • Veterinary CE - 7.25 hours
  • Poster Session - please submit all abstracts by September 1, 2008
