Graduate Student – Resident Awards

Criteria for Graduate Student/Resident Awards

  • SCAVMA Outstanding Teacher Award for Resident/Graduate Teaching Associates: Nominees must be a current resident or graduate teaching or research associate in the College of Veterinary Medicine and will be considered for the award on the basis of their teaching ability, knowledge in their area of expertise, responsiveness to the needs of students, and dedication to the College and the profession. Any College of Veterinary Medicine student, staff, or faculty member may nominate a qualified candidate. The nomination should consist of a one-page summary stating reasons for the nomination and why the nominee is deserving of the award.
