Application Procedure

All applicants applying to the College of Veterinary Medicine must complete the following instructions in the order listed:

1. Apply online through VMCAS (Veterinary Medicine College Application System).
2. Submit the following materials by October 1st - additional references (if necessary), a veterinary experience verification form to the Office of Student Affairs, all official transcripts to the Office of Professional Admissions. The verification form and additional reference forms can be found at http://professional.osu.edu/vetmed.asp.
3. Applicants who complete a VMCAS application will be invited to submit a supplemental application via e-mail. 

4. **Invitations to complete the supplemental application are emailed on a rolling basis. We encourage applicants who have not received an invitation by the end of November to contact the Office of Veterinary Student Affairs

5. The supplemental application must be completed within ten calendars of days of receiving the e-mail invitation.

The verficiation form and additional references can be completed and faxed to the Office of Student Affairs at (614) 292-6989 by October 1st.  These forms are located at http://professional.osu.edu/vetmed.asp.
